2012 Addys

The past year was huge for 1010. We moved downtown. We helped our community through work with OV Nation, Nevada’s Big Give, Candlelighter’s and St. Judes Ranch. And we established ourselves as trusted partners of our clients.

So the 2012 Addy’s capped that off with a great night for 1010 Collective. When the show ended we were carrying home one gold, three silver and two bronze Addys.


Our very own Holiday Scramble took home gold in the Ad Industry Self Promotion category. We’re extremely proud for the recognition. Our clients look to us to creative innovative messages for their brands, we might as well do it for ourselves too. Plus, we had a blast putting this together.

When we were tasked with rebranding Nationwide Power we knew we could do something special. They were a solid brand within their industry, but just weren’t portraying themselves as such. The first task was creating a new logo, which had to stack up agains GE, Mitsubishi, Toshiba and other global brands they offered. The resulting logo not only won an Addy, but has firmly established Nationwide Power as a premier player in their industry.

The Royal House is one of the hidden gems of Vegas. And they like it that way. Practically on the Strip, but it’s the kind of place you’re more likely to bump into a local in-the-know. But when people do hear about it, they head to the website to learn more. So we needed to portray the vibe of the Royal House while still getting across enough information to entice people to visit. The resulting site won a Silver Addy.

Once again, the Addy judges rewarded 1010 for branding ourselves. The 1010 Collective website won an Addy for Industry/Self Promotion. Our site is of the greatest importance to us. If we can’t portray ourselves on our own site we fail. Big time. So our site is infused with our own passions and energy as well as all the great work for our clients.

The Smith Center is an incredibly important project for Las Vegas. Inserting world-class performing arts into a city, and transforming an area of downtown in desperate need for life. We have been fortunate to help The Smith Center in their efforts digitally. Primarily with building their new site. We needed to educate and inform, inspire and motivate… and we feel the resulting site accomplishes all. The Addy judges agreed by awarding the website we built.

When we met Chef Jet Tila he was just on the cusp of stardom. And since, he has blown up. Appearing on Iron Chef America, opening the hot new restaurant The Charleston in Santa Monica, CA and starring in a new TV show. This video profile piece we created helped portray Jet as he is perceived in daily life. Giving a glimpse into the life of a chef on the Las Vegas Strip.

Vegas Uncork’d

Food/Wine/Fun Meets Digital/Advertising/Content

We love to eat. And we love to drink. And there’s no better place to do that than in Vegas. Which is why we’re proud to be a partner of Vegas Uncork’d.

Vegas Uncork’d is a world-renown food and wine festival, presented by Bon Appetit. This year’s edition of the annual event gathered together the greatest chefs in the world for several days of food, wine and fun for foodies looking for the ultimate culinary experiences. Guests could party it up with French culinary genius Hubert Keller as he DJ’d his own party. Or get served some of the whole suckling pig Charlie Palmerwas dishing up personally. And even play blackjack against top chefs like this year’s winner Jet Tila.

1010 Collective was brought in by Uncork’d to manage and update its website, customize its social media channels, create and distribute e-mail marketing, purchase and place online ads, as well as shoot video of the festival’s dynamic events. We enjoyed being part of Uncork’d where our integrated approach brought the festival’s Food/Wine/Fun mix to life to drive event awareness, sell tickets and optimize sponsorships.
